Following the breakdown of his marriage, Chang Seok returns to Seoul to look after his ailing mother. He is about to publish a book that is almost autobiographical. The film unfolds over the course of a few days, during which he meets various people, both new and old acquaintances; as he listens to their stories, he begins to re-evaluate the subject of his book. From the director of *Josee*, this is a rather introspective film that provides yet further proof that reality truly surpasses fantasy and that, when you least expect it, everything can be turned upside down.
