After the breakdown of his marriage, Chang Seok returns to Seoul to care for his ailing mother. He is about to publish a semi-autobiographical book. The film takes place over the course of a few days, during which he meets various people—both new and old acquaintances—and, as he listens to their stories, he begins to reevaluate the subject of his book. From the director of *Josee*, this is a fairly introspective film that proves once again that reality truly surpasses fiction—and that when you least expect it, everything can be turned upside down. Told almost in episodes, with the protagonist serving as the connecting thread between the various stories.
