Overview:
The story is set in the early years of the Goryeo Dynasty. Hae Soo, a 25-year-old woman from the modern era, is transported back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty and becomes caught up in the conflicts and power struggles among the Wang princes. There, she falls in love with Wang So, who strikes fear into the hearts of the people.
Wang So is the emperor’s heir; he does not want to be the center of attention, but he was born into royalty. His personality is as cold as ice.

A beautiful historical drama—I've added it to my list—full of love
It’s one of the most beautiful dramas—if not the most beautiful—I’ve ever seen since I started watching them. What amazing actors, what performances and acting… INCREDIBLE, utterly captivating pathos! It made me laugh with them, cry with them until my heart broke, and dream and hope alongside them. What a masterpiece! I’d watch it 1,000 times, hoping each time that no one else gets lost and that those two hearts find each other again—forever!

Ty Ty^^.... Spoiler . . . . . . . . . . . . Great, but I was on the edge of my seat throughout every episode, waiting to see how this couple’s story would end.... Historical films are prone to tragic endings... It’s a semi-open ending set in the present, but I have serious doubts there’ll be a sequel...

Amazing.... SPOILER . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . But, as the protagonist also mentioned, there was (also) another ending planned—the very one I’d imagined and, I think, the one we’d all been hoping for a little bit. It would have opened the door to a second part of this drama, set in modern times. The ending as it is is so very sad, and after crying through all the final episodes, I was hoping for a final burst of joy. No....unfortunately, I just kept crying....with a lump in my throat and so much bitterness, as if it had happened to me. Compelling… is an understatement. I felt the same emotions as the main characters, thanks to their acting, which draws you in right from the start.

An amazing drama—I never get tired of watching it and crying. Maybe it’s because of the ending… you just can’t seem to let it go, so you watch it again, telling yourself, "This time it’ll be different." There was talk of a sequel… I would have been thrilled, but sometimes it’s best not to mess with something that’s already perfect by adding sequels that might not live up to the original.
One of the best, if not the best, K-dramas ever. I give it a 10. I definitely recommend watching it.

Every time I watch it, it’s always a whirlwind of emotions, and their love is something truly unique. There’s always hope for a happy ending when I rewatch it, but then I realize that’s not the case, and that’s when the tears start flowing.
