Overview:
Kim Shin (Dokkaebi) needs a human bride to end his immortal life. Meanwhile, he meets the Angel of Death (Wang Yeo), who is suffering from amnesia. Somehow, by a twist of fate—or perhaps a curse—these two will end up living together. They’ll argue a lot, but they’ll also come to depend heavily on one another. This is the story of their unique lives as they escort the souls of the dead to the afterlife.
- Kim Shin is a mysterious, sad, and handsome goblin.
He was stabbed with a sword by a king he once served, but manages to survive as a goblin.
- Wang Yeo is a sexy angel of death.
He was abandoned by the king he served and died. Cursed with amnesia, he became a messenger of the underworld.
He remembers nothing except his duties as a reaper.
He meets a woman (the reincarnation of his beloved) and experiences a sense of déjà vu.
- Ji Eun-Tak is a high school student. She has a bright personality, even though she is an orphan and is going through difficult times.
She is Kim Shin’s human bride. Her life of poverty will suddenly take a "fantastic" turn.
- Kim Sun (also known as Sunny, an artist) runs a chicken restaurant.
She is an orphan. She uses her beauty to take advantage of men and line her own pockets. However, when she meets Wang Yeol, she falls in love with him.
- Yoo Duk-Hwa comes from a wealthy family that has been a vassal to the Goblins for 13 generations.

Spectacular cast. Lee Dong Wook is perfect as the grim reaper. Beautiful OST A must-see
It's beautiful ❤ I cried and laughed along with them—the soundtrack is beautiful, too. For me, it remains the best drama ever. ❤❤❤
@La Saretta @la-saretta .. I confirm everything—is it a cult classic by now?
A simply stunning drama, a kaleidoscope of emotions, with a superb cast led by Lee Dong Wook, who stands out as the grim reaper. Beautiful music. A must-see. After watching it, nothing will ever be the same again....?
It's the quintessential drama, my first love—unforgettable. Beautiful.
It's truly beautiful—I'd actually seen it before, but it's still even more beautiful. It brings back so many memories and always has the same effect on me ❤️ Thanks, Rama, for the translation, of course ?❤️
Gong Yoo's performance as the Goblin was excellent; I'd love to see more of his work... I've also already seen *Coffee Prince*—both were wonderful.
An intense drama about resentment and forgiveness. The grim reaper is the character who struck me the most and piqued my curiosity; his story evolved from a supporting role to the central one, overshadowing the two main characters. The agony of realizing his madness was heart-wrenching. How beautiful it is that, in the end, two souls always find their way back to each other.
It's such a beautiful drama—I don't think I've ever cried so much 😅😭😭❤️
Thrilling and brilliant, with a surprising ending 🤩
Probably one of the best dramas ever made: fantastic actors, a phenomenal story—a masterpiece.
I'm watching it right now... I'm on episode 11... I wish it would never end
TOTALLY AMAZING❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍💯
So beautiful!!!! I couldn't stop crying—what a wonderful story!♡
The actors were fantastic—I laughed and, of course, cried too... but I don't know, based on all the reviews I've read, I was expecting a little more... anyway, I recommend it because the actors are amazing!!
I watched it because it was recommended, and I have to say I fell in love with it! The Goblin’s nonchalance and the way he says "I love you" without any expression is fabulous! The ending is a little sad, but hope always remains. Highly recommended
Thank you!
A masterpiece.
What bad can you say about this drama, which—almost 10 years after its release—still feels just as relevant today in terms of its plot, direction, cinematography, and performances! This is a must-watch drama—not for those who are just getting into K-dramas, but perhaps for those who’ve been watching them for about a year, so they can fully appreciate its value!
One of the best dramas I've ever seen!! It's captivating, with a perfect script, great casting, and amazing settings—and don't even get me started on the soundtrack! On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 10!!!
