Hioki, a junior in high school, finds himself in a new class, separated from his classmates from previous years. While he’s despairing of finding a group that will accept him during a school trip, he’s invited by a former middle school classmate to join him and three other students: the Magnificent Four. At first, Hioki feels intimidated because he doesn’t feel he measures up to the four most popular students in school, but little by little, he grows closer to one of them.
