Love Is Sweet (2020)

The story follows a young woman named Jiang Jun who runs into her dear childhood friend, Ma Yuanshuai, at work—this time, however, not as an ally but as a rival... Jiang Jun (Bai Lu) is an educated woman with dual degrees in economics and psychology. Her parents’ liberal approach to raising her shaped her strong, independent, and idealistic character. After graduating, she begins working for a nonprofit organization to pursue her dream of helping others. However, her father’s sudden death leaves her at a crucial crossroads in her life. She decides to join MH, one of the largest investment firms, to fulfill her dying father’s wish. Jiang Jun runs into her childhood friend Ma Yuanshuai (Luo Yunxi), but he is nothing like the kind and caring, protective friend she remembered. Now he is her rival at work. Furthermore, someone seems to be plotting against her, and she must rely on her wits and determination to succeed not only in her career but also in love.
