Love Is Sweet (2020)

The story follows a young woman named Jiang Jun who meets her close childhood friend, Ma Yuanshuai, at work – this time, however, not as an ally but as a rival... Jiang Jun (Bai Lu) is an educated woman with a double degree in economics and psychology. Her parents’ liberal upbringing has shaped her strong, independent and idealistic character. After graduating, she begins working for a non-profit organisation to pursue her dream of helping others. However, her father’s sudden death leaves her at a crucial crossroads in her life. She decides to join MH, one of the leading investment firms, to fulfil her dying father’s wish. Jiang Jun meets her childhood friend Ma Yuanshuai (Luo Yunxi), but he is a far cry from the kind, caring and protective figure she remembered. He is now her rival at work. Furthermore, someone appears to be plotting against her, and she must rely on her wits and determination to succeed not only in her career but also in love.
