Eli, in protest against an injustice he has suffered, gets himself into trouble at school and, as punishment, is ordered to join the dance club and prepare to take part in the upcoming school dance with the help of the club president, Nick. The two have nothing in common, and Eli doesn’t seem to want things to change. Any budding relationship between them is further complicated by Justine, Nikko’s best friend, who is very protective of him.
