Kim Myung-Joon (Yoon Kye-Sang) is a poor man with a kind heart. He desperately needs money to pay for his sick daughter’s operation. At this point, his ex-wife Seo Hye Eun (Kim Shin Rok) turns up and offers to kidnap 11-year-old Choi Ro Hee (Yuna), whose parents are wealthy. Kim Myung-Joon is so desperate that he accepts her offer. To carry out the kidnapping, Kim Myung-Joon loiters near Choi Ro-Hee’s house, but accidentally hits someone with his car. The person he hits is Choi Ro-Hee. She loses her memory as a result of the car accident. Kim Myung-Joon takes Choi Ro-Hee to his home and begins living with her. Choi Ro-Hee believes that Kim Myung-Joon is her father. She is an extremely intelligent girl. Meanwhile, Kim Myung-Joon wants to return Choi Ro-Hee to her parents, but they do not answer the phone. He decides to go to their house to find out why. There, Kim Myung-Joon witnesses his parents’ bodies being taken away from their home. To make matters worse, Choi Ro-Hee realises that Kim Myung-Joon is not her father and is lying about their relationship. Park Sang Yoon (Park Sung-Hoon) is the detective in charge of tracking down Kim Myung-Joon, who is suspected of murder.
