Su Yu is a secondary school pupil. He has been living alone with his father ever since his mother left.
He and his father are almost always joined by Mrs Zhou, a local street food vendor, and her young daughter, Duo Duo.
With this tiny, makeshift family, Su Yu lives happily, despite the lack of money.
On the day his mother marries a wealthy man, Su Yu gains a half-brother, Wu Bi, who turns out to be his new classmate.
The two immediately clash, mainly because of their different personalities, but after getting off to a rocky start, their explosive relationship takes a new turn. Yet just as they are beginning to form a bond, a whole series of obstacles stands in their way...
Will the bond between Su Yu and Wu Bi endure, or will it break under the weight of their emotions, family turmoil and social pressure?
