Takayanagi is a mysterious high school ethics teacher. Although his pupils seem innocent, they have serious problems, such as bullying and self-harm. Takayanagi shares words and ideas about ethics and philosophy with his class. The words in the textbook may seem dull, but those written by figures such as Socrates give the pupils the chance to confront their problems and come to terms with their lives.
