Choi Do Hyun (Lee Jun-ho) spent most of his childhood in hospital due to a serious heart condition. Finally, thanks to a series of fortuitous events, he was given the chance to have a transplant. Shortly after the operation, his father became implicated in a murder, was subsequently put on trial and sentenced to death. Following this, Do Hyun studied law with passion, became a skilled lawyer, opened his own practice, and, in the meantime, investigated the many murky aspects of his father’s case.
