Cha Cha Woong (Park Hae Jin) is a highly regarded magician—albeit a bit sarcastic—with a penchant for spectacle, who performs on stage and on television. His tricks fascinate the audience, but what most people don’t know is that the magician relies on a group of secret helpers! However, these aren’t the usual assistants magicians use—they’re actually ghosts. But Cha Cha Woong isn’t afraid of the inhabitants of the spirit realm; on the contrary, he treats them as his employees… and they, in turn, consider him their 'boss." One day, the magician meets Go Seul Hae (Jin Ki Joo), a young and passionate police officer who can also see ghosts but fears her own abilities. Cha Cha Woong tries to get rid of her when she investigates an incident linked to one of his magic shows. But Go Seul Hae soon realizes that the magician’s unusual abilities could be the perfect tool for fighting crime. She manages to convince him to join the police force to capture vicious criminals and to use his ghostly entourage to help them stop the perpetrators of evil! But as their unorthodox partnership unfolds, love might also come into play.
