Mi Chong (Leon Leong) is a young man with paralyzing social anxiety. He is so dissatisfied with his miserable existence—which consists mainly of staying home all day, paralyzed by the fear of social interaction—that he eventually decides to end his life. He heads to a nearby river, intent on taking his own life. But when he sees a young girl named Zhi Liu (Vivienne Tien) in the river, about to drown, he instinctively dives in to save her. He didn’t know it, but Zhi Liu had also been going through a very difficult time. Unlike him, she is an extrovert, but her tumultuous family life has gotten the better of her, and she wants to distance herself from the people who have caused her pain. An unlikely friendship develops between these two individuals, despite their opposing personalities—but could love follow as well?
