In the midst of a brawl that broke out during a basketball game, Shake and Ken meet and clash. Ken is a popular sophomore in college, while Shake is a shy, studious freshman. Once they clear up their misunderstandings, the two young people find themselves drawn to each other. Their romantic love story is immediately supported by their respective friends; only Sandee, Ken’s childhood friend, out of envy and jealousy, tells everything to his mother—a conservative widow—who forces them to break up.
