In the 1980s, when the military dictatorship was at its peak, Park Pyong-ho (Lee Jung-jae), head of the KCIA’s foreign unit, and Kim Jung-do (Jung Woo-sung), head of the domestic unit, are tasked with uncovering a North Korean spy, known as Donlim, who is deeply embedded within their agency. When the spy begins leaking top-secret information that could jeopardize national security, the two units are each tasked with investigating the other. In this tense situation—where failure to find the mole could lead to their own indictment—Pyong-ho and Jung-do slowly begin to uncover the truth and learn of an unimaginable plot to assassinate the South Korean president.
