Homesick (2022)

In the fall of 1997, Chen You Xi ran away from the orphanage to find her missing best friend, Xiu, and that’s how she ended up in Tanling County all by herself. Before she went missing, Xiu had been working as a nanny for the Li family, and after her disappearance, the Li family accused her of running away after stealing from them. You Xi is absolutely certain that Xiu wasn’t the one who did it, but the family remains highly suspicious. Soon, You Xi discovers that the Li family’s daughter, Li Wen Wen, also disappeared many years earlier and was the same age as her. You Xi therefore decides to pretend to be Li Wen Wen and infiltrate the Li family’s home to uncover the truth about both girls’ disappearances.
