Seoul is devastated by a powerful earthquake. Hwanggoong Apartment is the only place still standing after the earthquake. The survivors head to Hwanggoong Apartment. Young Tak (Lee Byung Hun) temporarily takes charge of the residents of the Hwanggoong Apartment. Young Tak tries to protect the residents from outsiders. Min Sung (Park Seo Joon) was a civil servant. He is chosen by Young Tak and becomes his assistant. Myung Hwa (Park Bo Young) is Min Sung’s wife and a nurse. She cares for the injured.
