Overview:
The drama is based on a traditional Korean legend. The story is set during the Joseon Dynasty in the city of Miryang. Arang is the pure and innocent daughter of a magistrate. Raised without a mother, Arang is cared for by a cruel caretaker, who conspires to have her raped by a servant in order to dishonor her. But the young girl resists the attack, and her tormentor ends up stabbing her and abandoning her body in the forest. Arang’s father believes his daughter has run away with a man, bringing shame upon the family; thus, overcome with shame, he resigns.
According to legend, a series of magistrates take turns governing the city, and all flee in terror when Arang appears to them as a ghost, begging for help. Until a new magistrate arrives in Miryang—the young Lee Eun Oh. Arang appears to him, just as she has always done to those who came before him, and the young man, instead of fleeing, feels pity for her and promises to find her killer to avenge her death. But what would happen if, in the meantime, the two were to fall in love?

Then a message popped up telling me I was streaming too much...? I didn’t understand... Sorry for my cluelessness P.S. Welcome back, Rama Oriental... THANK YOU TO ALL THE CONTRIBUTORS FOR THEIR HARD WORK
Their story is beautiful.
Starting with the ninth episode, the subtitles aren't synchronized with the dialogue. It's hard to follow the series.
