This isn’t your typical love story about a woman in a terrible situation who meets a domineering young CEO. Ling Xunxun (Jiang Meng Jie) is a full-time housewife who has tirelessly looked after her husband and son for six years, but has discovered that her marriage has reached breaking point. After filing for divorce, her day takes a turn for the worse when, on her way out to celebrate being single again, she crashes into a luxury car; the car’s owner, a young man who appears to be a university graduate, demands a huge sum in compensation, leaving her facing mounting debt due to the amount she must pay for the damage. To regain custody of her son, Ling Xunxun returns to work. Somehow, she ends up becoming the personal assistant to the young CEO Cheng Li (Liu Te), who is the very same man involved in the accident.
