Gu Yun Zheng, a young neurosurgeon, meets his former student Su Wei An in Lakaya. She has dropped out of her MBBS course and is currently working as a pharmaceutical sales representative. At first, Dr Gu finds Wei An strange, but gradually realises that she is suffering from Huntington’s disease. The two fall in love and face their problems together, whilst he tries to race against fate and time to save her from this disease. He tries to cure her with love, and so love is a panacea.
