Kasuga Takao is a boy who loves reading books, particularly Baudelaire’s *Les Fleurs du Mal*. A girl from his school, Saeki Nanako, is his muse and his Venus, and he admires her from afar. One day, he forgets his copy of *Les Fleurs du Mal* in the classroom and rushes back on his own to fetch it. In the classroom, he finds not only his book, but also Saeki’s PE kit. In a moment of madness, he steals it. Now everyone knows that "some pervert" has stolen Saeki’s uniform, and Takao is dying of shame and guilt. What’s more, Nakamura, the strange, unsettling girl in the class who has no friends, saw him take the uniform. Instead of revealing that it was him, she recognises a kindred deviant spirit in him and uses her knowledge to take control of his life. Will Takao manage to get closer to Saeki, despite Nakamura’s interference and her dark secret? What exactly does Nakamura intend to do with him?
