In 1995, Soichiro Takakura (Kento Yamazaki) is a scientist working on the development of a robot. He is also on the verge of completing a plasma battery, in accordance with the wishes of the late Matsushita. Matsushita was a friend of Soichiro Takakura’s late father. Outside of work, Soichiro Takakura spends peaceful days with his cat, Pito, and his girlfriend, Riko (Kiyohara Kaya), Matsushita’s daughter. He is soon betrayed by his business partner and also by his girlfriend. Soichiro Takakura loses control of his company and of the work he had been doing on the robot and the plasma battery. Soichiro Takakura therefore decides to enter a cryogenic chamber, hoping to find a better future. When he wakes up, he discovers he is in the year 2025.
