Overview:
Sunshine, an aspiring actor who appears self-assured, is convinced that his relationship with his boyfriend Rain will last forever. But with just seven days to go until Valentine’s Day, he discovers that things aren’t quite as he’d imagined. In a desperate attempt to win back his beloved, Sunshine meets Kyu, an enigmatic figure who offers him a unique opportunity: every night until Valentine’s Day, he can make a wish to try and get Rain back. Day after day, however, Sunshine realises that every wish comes at a price and that his actions can have unexpected consequences.

I’d started out with a bit of a preconceived notion, and at first I found it a bit slow, but then it surprised and moved me. It’s very profound. Lovely – thank you for the translation!
Having read the particularly favourable reviews, I’d built up quite high expectations. Instead, I was disappointed whilst watching the very first few episodes – I found myself thinking, 'Why on earth did I bother?’, and I was on the verge of giving up! That would have been a huge mistake, because it actually got better and better; the series became increasingly gripping, right up to the finale – which did bring tears, but tears of joy! The main theme, sung by Min Pattreeya, is magnificent. All in all… absolutely brilliant!
