They Kiss Again (2007)
Here is the second series of *It Started With A Kiss*, in which we see Zi Shu and Xiang Qin grappling with marital problems this time round. Xiang Qin is as clumsy as ever, and gets herself into all sorts of comical situations whilst learning to be a good wife and trying her very best to become a good nurse, working alongside her brilliant husband. Aspiring doctor Zhi Shu encounters obstacles in his studies and has to deal with rivals, both academically and in his love life. The pressure of having to balance marriage, work and study leads to mistakes and misunderstandings, so Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin learn that getting married young wasn’t such a great idea after all. Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin struggle with their professional ambitions, whilst also grappling with their personal relationship. On many occasions, Zhi Shu’s coldness and harshness reduce Xiang Qin to tears, and she tries to run away. Zhi Shu himself tries to encourage his wife to aim higher. Zhi Shu soon learns to love Xiang Qin and forgets her awkward ways, whilst she tries even harder to become a better wife. Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin are not the only ones facing relationship troubles. Xiang Qin’s childhood friend, Ah Jin (Jiro Wang), has to deal with the displays of affection from Christine, an English exchange student, who clings to him against his will. Another of Xiang Qin’s friends, Chun Mei (Petty Yang), becomes pregnant by her boyfriend, Ah Bu (Aaron Yan), but her wealthy, intellectual mother tries everything she can to keep them apart. Zhi Shu’s younger brother, Yu Shu (Zhang Bo Han), finds himself facing his first love, which bears an uncanny resemblance to the story of his older brother and Xiang Qin.
