Goemon Goemon (2009)

“Goemon” is based on the life of Ishikawa Goemon, a legendary 16th-century ninja warrior and outlaw who stole valuables to give them to the poor. There is little historical information about Goemon’s life, and he has thus become a folk hero whose origins and past have been the subject of much speculation. The film offers a new interpretation of the character.
