I didn't have high expectations, but I have to admit I was wrong—I really like this drama. The chemistry between the leads is palpable, and he's very, very handsome. I hope it's not just a flash in the pan.

@Isabel06 I'd also recommend the comic—I don't know if you can find it in Italian, but the English version is almost finished; I think there are just a couple of chapters left. The story is coming along nicely.

The comments in the subtitles are brilliant—kudos to your subtitler. And tell her that if she wants, I'll explain to her what Grandpa knew ;)

I promised myself I’d wait until all the episodes were ready, but alas, I fell for it—and now that I’ve seen the first few episodes, I’m totally hooked. They’re amazing. Thanks for all the work you do… your comments are hilarious—am I dead over “Lestofante” and “Buzzurro”???

Thank you so much for all the work you do... The reviews are wonderful, but I have to admit that starting with the fifth episode, it’s bored me a little bit, so for now I’m going to take a break from it. I think the main characters are a little too sappy... This isn’t a criticism of your work, of course. Thank you so much

I was expecting a more brutal revenge, since, poor thing, she had to go through so much. But I liked it. Thanks for the translation!

"Trust Me" is the right kind of revenge; the comic book explains the reason behind this revenge even more clearly.

Ty Ty^^... I had high expectations, and they weren't let down! Truly amazing! Sung Hoon was (as always) divine... um, yeah, I'm biased—I love him. But the best part is Do Guk's trio of grandmother, mom, and sister—they're fantastic! Ah! I was dying of laughter at the comments on the subtitles.

So, so good!!! The chemistry between the two of them is amazing!! As for him, what can I say—he’s fantastic and handsome 😜 as always (though I would have asked the costume designer to do a better job with his look), but anyway, great job everyone! Thanks for translating it—now I’m reading *Matwa* with Italian subtitles. Thanks again 🙏❤️

Sung Hoon never disappoints; the plot is interesting, and he shines as always... There's good chemistry between the leads, and the antagonists are great too—I enjoyed it. But if you want to watch a drama with explosive chemistry, you have to watch *My Secret Romance* :)

I just finished watching this drama, which, alas, fell a little short of my expectations... The rather unoriginal story, I think, lacked a balance between the two main themes—revenge and love—with the former (in my opinion) overshadowing the latter...With a male lead like Sung Hoon, they could have been more daring. She didn’t move me at all; I found her really one-dimensional throughout the entire drama...On the plus side, the 12 episodes… okay, I’ll give it a 6—but just for him. Thanks, guys, for the flawless translation as always, and for the comments that at least made me smile—even if I didn’t agree with most of them 🤣🤣🤣

I really, really liked how the revenge played out. I thought it would be something gruesome that would change the character, but instead she remains kind-hearted. Rather than revenge, you could call it true justice—cruel characters who finally face the consequences of their actions at the hands of the protagonist, and I have to say I really appreciated that. Obviously, it was a bit predictable in some ways, but it still remained intriguing—the most dramatic scenes weren’t dragged out too long, saving the drama from turning into a soap opera (I know a thing or two about that; I’ve watched every episode of *Terra Amara*). I really appreciated how the protagonists deal with the antagonists' schemes—logically, decisively, and often simply, just as it might actually happen in real life. More than once, I found myself thinking they were all playing a game of chess. The two themes—"revenge" and romance—are, in my opinion, well balanced, considering that viewers of this drama aren’t watching it (in my view) for sappy or overly romantic scenes—though those are still appreciated given the hardships the female lead endures—and my fears, namely that the male character might steal the show, were unfounded, because even though he had his own story, he primarily served as an important source of emotional support for the protagonist, who had to go through a major journey of personal growth, without stealing the spotlight from her. There’s chemistry between the two lead actors, and they’re really good at acting (again, in my opinion). Of course, all the other actors are just as good—though, perhaps, the protagonist’s stepmother’s facial expressions were a bit over the top at times. This drama far exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit classic but without too many soap-opera-style drawn-out plotlines—to see justice served with class (intelligence but NOT cruelty) and an ending that brings a smile to your face.

I wanted to watch it because I was curious about the comic (which I haven't read yet), and I literally fell in love with Sung Hoon! The plot is well-crafted (even if at times you’d want to shake the main character because of certain scenes that we Westerners wouldn’t accept) and gripping—I highly recommend it!
